can i get a bike lane?
Sunday, October 21st, 2007heading into the city today for a class group meeting. psyched that the weather is so nice and i’m going to bring silverfish (hey, some folks name their cars, i name my bikes) on the LIRR and ride from penn to the upper east side. even though my ‘main bike’ has gears i still, erm, worry about the higher elevations in the city. after trying to ride crosstown up the huge slope of 53rd street i try and avoid unnecessary exhertion while biking. i mean, i’m supposed to be having fun after all… wondering about bike lanes on the upper east…
